i’ve only been there once, but i’m head over heels in love with gracias madre. the entirely vegan restaurant in san francisco’s mission district serves up huge portions of organic mexican food that’s just fantastic.

we hit up gracias madre a couple months ago, and were shocked by how good it was. we were first taken aback by the amazing atmosphere. i’m used to vegan restaurants being small and often times dingy…but this was a huge wide open space with a clean and colorful decor.

good news, everyone! the chickin’ caesar wrap that was recently removed from veggie grill’s menu IS BACK starting today!

this wrap is amazing, and there was an outcry when veggie grill stopped selling it. i am so glad they have come to their senses and decided to offer it again. please go eat this thing ASAP, i really don’t want to see it go away again!!

thanks veggie grill, for bring back the chickin’ casesar wrap! we love you. is it too much to ask to bring the caesar salad back as well? 😉

tofu pesto sandwich:
grilled tofu and fresh basil-spinach pesto on a rustic roll, with romaine and onions and vegan mayo.

pure luck is hands-down my favorite restaurant in los angeles. it’s great. they have a delicious 100% vegan menu and an impressive selection of quality tap-beer, none of which is over-priced. they truly are one-of-a-kind.
