10December 28th, 2010LA restaurants, localiyes, you heard me right! locali is offering the best vegan reuben in LA at 10% off to quarrygirl readers for the rest of 2010!
vegan reuben: marinated deli slices topped with daiya cheese, sauerkraut & smothered with homemade vegan russian dressing. $9.75
they informed us on twitter that all you need to do is mention “quarrygirl” when you order a reuben before 2011, and you will receive a 10% discount. this is by far the best reuben in town…so if you haven’t tried it yet, GET ON IT.

It IS the best reuben in town.
Native Foods makes a good approximation, but I don’t think they salt their “corned beef” or “pastrami” or whatever. It’s the only thing they left out, but it is sort of the defining characteristic of the type of meat you use in a reuben, so…

Loving the revamped site! I’m so glad I moved back close to Locali. I’m definitely hitting this up for dinner one night.
Speaking of dinner, let’s do that soon. I have crazy goodness to tell you.

I am trying to get my sister-in-law to go with me Friday to try the Reuben at Locali. She is down from SF and always has to get a Reuben from FYH….but she is waisting her trips down by not trying Locali’s version.

“…for the rest of the year” means the discount is only good for 4 days (Dec 28 – Dec 31, 2010). Not such a great offer. Sorry.
