vegan st. patty’s day cupcakes: GET THEM!

peppermint patty and cream-filled cupcakes by vegan bake sale! (sadly the cupcakes got a little roughed up and smooshed in my car! :()
here in america, st. patrick’s day is pretty much a wasted occasion. you don’t get time off work, the bars are too crowded to enjoy, and pervs have the excuse to go around pinching people all day. even thought i enjoy a bit of fun and am quite a heavy drinker, i just can’t get into all the green beer, glittery shamrocks, and fake irish patriotism. what i CAN get into though, is st. patty’s day themed cupcakes by vegan bake sale.
fuck the rest of the holiday, let’s make st. patrick’s day 2010 a day to celebrate cupcakes. as of now, the meet market in silverlake is carrying three flavors by vegan bake sale (all baked freshly today), and the two types i tried were absolutely wonderful.
pictured above, you have the peppermint patty flavor —dense chocolate cake topped off with cool, creamy mint frosting…as well as the hostess style cream-filled cupcake.
these things are cute, festive, colorful, and tasty as hell…the perfect way to celebrate—even if you don’t care about the holiday. vegan bake sale cupcakes are regularly available at the meet market, but if i were you i would rush there and try these special flavors ASAP.
you won’t be sorry!

Haha, I just made it to the Meet Market today right when they were closing at 7pm. I got both of those cupcakes and one green tea cupcake. Then I hit Cruzer for a peta pizza. I haven’t tried the cupcakes yet but they’re waiting in my fridge.

I can’t wait. I’m going to Meet Market on St. Patrick’s Day for lunch. Even though I delivered these suckers twice this week I still haven’t had these special flavors and I can’t wait to try. I’ll be getting the reuben too.

even after rolling around in quarrygirl’s trunk, these veganbakesale cupcakes are factually the BEST looking and TASTING cupcakes (vegan or not) on earth.
seriously, whomever makes them is a genius.

Well due to my schedule, I’m at work about 45 minutes away from MM today. However I am trying very much to think of an excuse to drive over that way for these cupcakes. Hehe.

Yummy Cupcakes in Burbank and Santa Monica have a vegan GREEN VELVET cupcake today. I have had their RED VELVET cupcake and it is indeed Yummy!

There is no way I can get to the Meet Market today. 🙁
But I did have a green tea cupcake over the weekend – yummy!
