heads up! gourmet mashed potato company bangers and smashed will be serving up food at the surly goat on monday night, and they’re coming equipped with vegan options!

Bourbon Pecan Smashed - In the Southern tradition, yams blended with Jack Daniel's and spice

in addition to their “regular” items, bangers and smashed will be slinging vegan bourbon pecan mashed potatoes with jack daniels as well as smoked apple sage vegan sausages.

the price is 2 scoops of smash for 5 bucks, or 2 scoops and 2 sausages for ten bucks. i’ve had these killer mashed potatoes before, and they’re the bomb diggity.

so get over to the goat on monday, drink some craft beer, and fill up on vegan goodness. there’s also gonna be some game on called the ncaa something or other, if that interests you.

  • I love bangers and smashed! I was there and try their vegan food at Surly Goat on St. Patty’s day and it was delish. I just wish they had a permanent location.

I’ll be sure to check them out on Monday.

  • On St. Patties day they were just selling dry Tofurky sausages for $5 a piece. I could have gone down the block to Whole Foods and bought a whole pack for that much.

  • I went to the St. Patty’s day party, and it was great! I loved the sausages. Not sure what time you were there, but when I got them they were Field Roast and weren’t dry at all. Unbelivable mashed potatoes and moist sausages. I paid $10 for a huge plate of both. Maybe u went when supplies were dwindling? But there was no tofurkey when I was there.

  • At risk of sounding like a smart-ass, they should probably rename those smashed, since Jack Daniels is a sour mash and not actually bourbon.
