3February 13th, 2011LA restaurants, localigot plans today?! why don’t you head over to locali and support one of our favorite vegans ever, clara polito. the 13 year old baker behind the delicious clara’s cakes is holding a bake sale to raise money for a school trip to new york.

she has almost raised enough money for the trip, but she’s not quite there…so let’s go buy some yummy treats and help her reach her goal. clara has received donations from local business and bakers for the sale (including DOOMIE’S!), plus she’s personally baked the following flavors: caliente chocolate, vanilla raspberry, chocolate raspberry, neapolitan, and red velvet. i speak for experience when i say that clara’s cakes are delicious, so don’t miss this.

Nowhere near that part of town today but I hope she is able to sell lots of vegan cupcakes to other people who make it over.

I bought five cupcakes and they were all shared and eaten before sun-down, deeee-licious!!!
