help save the hollywood farmers market today!
6December 15th, 2010farmers market, LA restaurantsnot sure if you’ve been keeping track of the dramz, but the hollywood farmers market (home of the beloved taste of life breakfast sandwich) is being threatened.
la film school is trying to shut down the market, and we CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN. seriously, this would be a huge blow to the vegan community considering how many vegan-friendly stands and vendors operate there.

Taste of Life will be back this weekend- I saw one of the owners at last week’s market and he assured me they would be there.

agreed @hannah. We went specifically for them, and twice we’ve been so bummed. I asked them, one of them, and he said they wont come out if there is a chance they wont make enough $. 🙁
Has anyone ever talked to them about if they are in it for health/fad/ethics? Either way the food is amazing, I just wonder. -

The owners Sar and Hosea are friends of mine and they have been vegans over 20 years… Probably longer than you have been on this earth. They inspired me to give up my vegetarian lifestyle for veganism, so we should do all we can to help save the Farmer’s Market. -
Thanks Lisa. Great to know. Sadly I’ve been on this earth a lot longer than that and vegan for almost that long 🙂
