sweet e’s storefront opens! vegan cupcakes & more!
4December 3rd, 2010LA restaurants, sweet e's, vegan bakerswe all know vegans LOVE cupcakes and now LA folks can get their fix at the newly-opened sweet e’s storefront in beverly hills.
we have been fans of the tiny treats from sweet e’s mini bakeshop for a while now, so we were super excited when we heard they were getting a brick and mortar location, and would stock at least one vegan flavor daily. i checked out the cute new store earlier this week and as usual the desserts were delicious…
the flavor of the day was creamy chocolate, and i was a huge fan. each cupcake is tiny (just a couple bites worth), so they are perfect for a minor indulgence.
i also tried some vegan brownies, which were so fudgy and decadent, they didn’t even taste vegan. honestly, they’d fool anybody…so good!
inside, sweet e’s is beyond adorable. it’s so clean and bright with lots of pink and lovely little cupcake decorations. they even have an merchandise section with tons of cupcake-themed accessories including awesome aprons by jessie steele.
as i was leaving, i found out they can make vegan frosting cones as well. OMG, i am definitely gonna order some of these in the future.
everyone knows that frosting is the best part of the cupcake…why waste time with anything else?!
in addition to being pretty and having amazing vegan desserts on hand daily, sweet e’s also has coffee and free wifi. i think it would be the perfect place to camp out and web surf while getting high on sugar and caffeine. congrats to sweet e’s for getting their shop up and running! go check it out ASAP!

Cool, I’m there!! You can buy a magazine at Robertson’s magazines right across the street and read it at the shop!

How exciting! I haven’t tried Sweet E’s yet, but I’ll add it to the list. I love Jessie Steele aprons; I have one and I got one for the lovely Miss Vegan Beauty Review one year, too!
