vegan cupcakes by sweet e’s “the mini bakeshop”
10May 25th, 2010vegan bakersdo you like adorable little desserts? then you are gonna love sweet e’s bakeshop.
the LA-based company calls itself a “mini bakeshop,” because they specialize in cute bite-sized treats…and their sweets are custom-made, so they can put any decoration on any dessert. sweet e’s has been wowing customers for quite awhile (even making cupcakes for cast members of the hills), but only recently did they launch a brand new vegan dessert line!
when sweet e’s offered to send me samples of their new vegan cupcakes, of course i was beyond excited. even though i had pretty high expectations, i can safely say the treats were even more adorable and tasty than i imagined…
sweet e’s sent me a box of a dozen red velvet mini cupcakes, 3 of which had cute little decorations on them. i didn’t send them any designs to work with, so they totally surprised me with some “vegan” artwork and even one cupcake with my blog graphic printed on it!! how the hell do they do that?! it’s like miniature edible screen printing, and i love it!
not only were the cupcakes super attractive, but they were amazingly delicious as well. the frosting was creamy and rich, and the cake was incredibly moist. each cupcake was around 2-3 bites…the perfect size for a snack.
sweet e’s delivers all around los angeles, but you can also pick up from their kitchen in culver city. they have a pretty impressive vegan cupcake menu right now, and are also working on vegan cake pops and brownies—i can’t wait! i highly suggest you give this mini bakeshop a try, i mean how fun is it to eat little cool pictures?! i think sweet e’s would be perfect for a huge event like a wedding or a big birthday party if you want to wow people with neat-o looking desserts. check out the photo gallery on their site for more ideas.
i can’t wait to eat sweet e’s again, their stuff is so damn good!

Looks great, but at $54 for two dozen?!? Sorry, that’s just a little excessive for two bite goodness.
