what you sick vegans come here for
16October 26th, 2010LA restaurants, spork foodsi don’t know what you guys are doing this weekend, but from the looks of this photo, you should cancel your plans and take the spork foods brunch o’clock class.
tempeh bacon stuffed tater tots can be yours
when i saw this photo on the spork foods facebook, it was love at first sight. the spork foods sisters have been holding cooking classes in LA for years, and they have the endorsement of some of our favorite vegan blogs, as well as LAist. i’ve had their food before, and checked out their new weho cooking space, and both are nothing short of incredible.
the menu for the class this sunday is “Harvest Quiche with an Herb Crust, Tempeh Bacon Stuffed Tater Tots, Grilled Asparagus with a Hollandaise Sauce, and Lemon Ginger Scones with a Whipped Maple Cinnamon Butter” aka “I DIE”! it all sounds so freaking good.
check out the spork foods website for info on how to sign up!

I agree 100% with QG–I have taken nearly 30 of their classes and they are always amazing, no matter what the menu is. And the Spork sisters are so wonderful. I highly recommend any of their classes, but these tater tots look to die for! I can’t wait until class Saturday!

I have taken classes with them almost since they started the business. They help us learn to make fabulous vegan food. They are non-judgmental – in fact most classes I’ve taken had many if not mostly omnis. Grab an omni friend and go to one of their classes! I did. They are lovely human beings.

i love the spork sisters!!!! their classes are such a good investment! i love having their recipes to fall back on when i’m invited to a potluck that will inevitably be meat plates left and right. they’re amazing!
