vegan-friendly food truck launch this saturday!
12February 4th, 2010LA restaurants, mandoline grillremember way back in the day, when we blogged about amazing vietnamese food from mandoline grill? well the vegan-friendly food truck is finally ready to start roaming the streets, and they are having their launch party this saturday at the verdugo bar from 3-8pm. i highly suggest you stop by and fill up on some lemongrass tofu banh mi sandwiches and noodle bowls, then wash it all down with some quality craft beer.
vegan lemongrass tofu banh mi. $5
and there isn’t just gonna be awesome food and beer at this event—but also live djs and prize giveaways. sounds like a swingin’ shindig to me!
don’t miss this. the food at mandoline grill is excellent. let’s give them a warm welcome to the food truck club.

Looking forward to seeing what locations they frequent. Hopefully this isn’t another truck/cart that only does downtown and east side. No one has routes on the West Side!

How do you hear about this stuff? I’m going to go at around 5pm. Who is with me?

I found your blog when I was googling the Surly Goat. This is the most amazing resource. Granted I am not vegan, just vegetarian, but I can’t thank you enough.

Just to warn, the Verdugo Patio sessions are hit or miss. I wet to the Hot Knives Event and they ran out of food early. I’ve also been to events (non-vegan) where food trucks completely cancelled or were very late. Not saying that will happen this weekend, I just wanted to warn!
