9September 18th, 2011LA restaurants, long beach vegan eateryall you people who were stressin’ about the lack of vegan options in long beach when we wrote that less than flattering post about steamed can chill out—a new vegan restaurant is opening next month in the LBC!
the brainchild of 20+ year vegetarian jeff terranova and former meat-lover beckey salg, long beach vegan eatery will offer “stick to your ribs comfort foods which are dairy and cruelty free and contain absolutely no animal products or bi-products. Nothing with a mother, nothing with a face. At LBVE you never have to worry about cross contamination… Our products are prepared with love, so sit back, relax and put our love in your belly.”
we’ve no specifics at the moment on the exact opening status of long beach vegan eatery, but we’re stalking their facebook for updates. please “like” them and do the same!
at the moment, long beach is severely lacking in the vegan department. let’s hope the LBVE changes all that—and quick!

I’ve met the girl part owner. Hopefully the food is better than her attitude. I know it’s stressful opening a restaurant but man oh man.

is there really a need to bust on someone you don’t even know? i mean, c’mon, this is about the opening of a new vegan eatery, not about her (possible) bad attitude. grow up.

Just saying. Be nice. Maybe it’s mean to say something like that, but honestly, not nice experience. I want success for a vegan business I think it great, but at the same time reading the reviews…karma.
