vegistock vegan stock photography to launch this thursday!
9August 31st, 2011vegan stufflisten up, vegnews (and everyone else)! instead of being relegated to horrendously boring and limited vegetarian bbq pictures that are obviously from istockphoto.com, you should get on this new and rad entirely vegan stock photo site called vegistock.com. trade in that mushroom skewer for a proper vegan bbq shot:
vegistock officially launches tomorrow, and will feature high-quality professional photos of animal-free foods at affordable prices. i seriously think all vegan publications should get on this. more on them after the jump…
vegistock will be focused on providing pictures to various publications in addition to non-profits, restaurants, sanctuaries and bloggers. what makes them different from other stock photo sites is that they are going to allow customers to request a photo to fit their individual needs—and will also donation a portion of their earnings to animal charities.
check out vegistock when they launch, and use them to fulfill your vegan stock photography needs. hooray for vegan businesses, and for honest photos that don’t contain animal products. <3

The problem is, some vegetarian stuff looks so realistic, what’s to stop the meat brigade from uploading pics of the real deal, for lols? You might never know.

Thanks for the post! All of our pictures are guaranteed vegan, as both of us founders are vegan. We are making the food ourselves to ensure the ingredients are 100% cruelty-free and we are even using local and organic ingredients to help the environment. We are not allowing user-submissions for the purpose of preventing the possibility of meat images on our site. Hope that helps!

I fully agree! Jessica listed everything else I wanted to hear from the site… all that’s missing is supporting vegan photographers and they’ve got my membership for life!

It’s nice to hear that they’ll be giving back to the animals. 🙂
