teese mozzarella sticks now available at viva la vegan grocery!
9if you live in los angeles, breaded vegan teese mozzarella sticks by chicago soydairy are now within driving distance! viva la vegan in rancho cucmonga announced on facebook that they’re now carrying the amazing sticks, so get on over there.
i’ve eaten these mozzarella sticks on a few occasions, and they are AMAZING. they taste just like the real thing. they’re easy to make at home, so dust off that deep fat fryer. if you don’t have a fryer, a pan works as well!
nommers.

What else does this place have? I wish the website gave an idea of the inventory. The mozz sticks look great, but Rancho Cucamonga ain’t too close.

This place is delicious! I live by Rancho and go here often. They have a wide selection of hard to finds and favorites, and they also carry take and bake vegan pizzas from ‘cheezy pizza’ in Colton (which is also delicious. It’s well worth the drive!

Anyone know of any other places that currently sell these? Rancho is FARRRRR for me. (i’m right between LA, OC, and LBC)

Even if it is far its not like you’re making a long drive for one item. It is an ENTIRE grocery store that is 100 percent vegan. You get to support the only fully vegan grocery store, stock up on hard to find amazing vegan treats and there’s some good vegan restaurants in the area too. I make the drive once a month and stock up. Totally worth it.

^ If you happen to see this post, could you let us know which vegan restaurants in the area you’d recommend?
I’d LOVE to support an all-vegan grocery store and shucks, I wish we had one of those here in Pasadena!
Anyways yea, would be nice to try out a vegan eatery in the vicinity when I make the trip, thanks! -

My boyfriend and I went to Big Bear for the weekend, and hit up Viva La Vegan on the way back earlier today. It was so awesome to have an entire store full of food I could eat! It’s in a strange area with street parking only. We were the only ones in the entire store. Makes me wonder if they will stay in business? The selection was awesome, lots of things I haven’t seen at Whole Foods. Reminds me of the selection at FYH, except all vegan!
Now, if only there was a health food store or any kind of restaurant that has a few vegan dishes on the menu in Big Bear. We go up there several times a year, and the only place I have found that is remotely veg-friendly is Himalayan, and Indian/Nepalese restaurant. I can’t believe there’s still towns out there without any vegan friendly restaurants! Guess we are all spoiled here in LA!!
