hi everyone, i’m super excited to announce that the wonderful raw/vegan/amazing company earth cafe has offered to give away an entire cheesecake to one lucky quarrygirl reader!
who's your daddy pie: rich creamy carob Mousse cheesecake
as you probably already know, we are HUGE FANS of earth cafe’s products. they make some of the best cheesecake i’ve ever tasted—and it just happens to be completely raw, vegan, and gluten-free, with no refined sugars or hydrogenated oils. these cakes are rich, decadent, and luscious beyond belief, even omnivores go crazy for them! so be sure to enter to win!
here’s what you need to do for a chance to win your very own earth cafe cheesecake:
1.) you must comment on this blog post with your favorite of earth cafe’s flavors. (please note sweet potato pie, which is awesome, is not listed on their site yet.)
2.) you must leave your real, valid email address when you submit your comment. (the public won’t see this, just me…so i can contact you if you win!)
3.) you must live in the united states and have a valid address we can ship to.that’s it. super easy. the winner will be picked at random and announced on the morning of tuesday, april 6, 2010. they will receive one entire earth cafe cheesecake or pie in the flavor of their choosing.

I haven’t had every flavor but of the ones I’ve had I really like the lemon. I don’t have any vegan friends really so I don’t think I could eat the whole cake by myself.

@Nick: omnivores probably won’t taste the difference between one of these and a “real” cheesecake. In fact, I’ve taken slices into work before now and nobody has been any the wiser.

My favorite flavor is a toss up between Banana Cream and the Lemon, but if I was forced to choose I would say I like the Lemon better. Although if you ask me in 10 minutes I might change my mind.

Well after looking at the website I would have to say that I would die and go to heaven if I received a ‘sampler pie’ with all of the flavors. But if I had to choose my one fav. flavor it would be ‘Who’s your Daddy’, because really, how can you improve on chocolate cheesecake?

Oh man, it’s hard to choose. If I had a water gun held to my head, I suppose I’d select the Rockin’ Raspberry Cheesecake. You can’t beat raspberry.

Banana Cream! Hands down! Such great texture and not so rich it makes your teeth hurt. [which means it is totally ok to have a slice for breakfast]

The Strawberry Fields Forever cheesecake is beautifully crafted. I love the full, bold flavor so much! It’s a classic that everyone falls in love with. My absolute favorite 🙂

This is my favorite cheesecake raw or cooked! I like them all but the lemon is my favorite. I have 2 slices a week. It’s my treat that calls my name from the fridge.

My favorite Earth Cake cheesecake is the Banana Cream! I should win because I’m a college student and being vegan is already expensive, eating a nice vegan cheesecake would be a dream! xo

This looks delicious! I’ve never had the joy of trying these, but after looking at the flavors, I think the Whose Your Daddy?, Banana Cream or the Sweet Potato cheesecakes sound the most appetizing (I’m a sweet potato fiend).

Who’s Your Daddy by far!
They are all surreal cheesecake experiences, but Who’s Your Daddy puts chocolate to shame–I’ve always loved carob, but you have no idea the carob binge this pie sent me on when I first tried it. I’d rather have this pie than drugs, love, fame, or money. Ok, maybe not love. But still. There aren’t even words for how amazing it is.

Blueberry Thrill was the first I ever had (almost a year ago today, now that I think of it!), and it remains to be my favorite, though I’ve never had a flavor I didn’t like.

I have never had any of their foods. This is the first I have heard of them, however, I see they are in Whole Foods and Lassens near me in Thousand Oaks… so I will have to buy some. -
I think I would go with the coconut carob unless that sweet potato pie is seriously way better… I haven’t ever had sweet potato pie vegan or non………..

I just started following Earth Cafe on Twitter, so I’ve been looking at their website, but haven’t had a chance to try their desserts yet! All of the flavors look amazing, but if I had to choose just one, I’d probably go with the new Sweet Potato! I’ve never had a raw vegan sweet potato dessert and it just sounds AMAZING! If that’s not an option, then definitely Cherry is a close second!

Strawberry Fields Forever is a favorite of favorites. I remember being young and for some reason reading centerfolds in Playboy and every girl’s favorite food was strawberries. I guess that and how I’m growing some boobs are all we share in common… I should probably stop eating so much cake.

I tried all their flavors and every time I go to whole foods I save on other stuff by utilizing the store’s coupons so I can afford to buy @ least 4 flavors that I savor after dinner one flavor at a time after I get my one year old to bed. My favorite is the blueberry cheesecake coz i love blueberries and one of my favorite color is blue just looking @ it is such a real splendor!! please pick me I entered so many of this contest but I never won…
