hey everyone, time for a quick giveaway! there’s a fancy-schmancy masquerade ball going down this friday to benefit the World Animal Awareness Societies, and the event’s organizers have agreed to giveaway a pair of tickets to one lucky quarrygirl.com reader! sounds like it’s gonna be a crazy night with good food, celebrities, and musical guests at a ritzy estate. more details and how to win after the jump.

Philanthropist and entrepreneur Ady Gil, whose million-dollar boat was destroyed by Japanese whalers last season on “Whale Wars,” is hosting an outrageous masquerade ball at his Woodland Hills estate in support of the nonprofit World Animal Awareness Society’s work in the gulf.
“Into the Wild” attendees are being encouraged to dress as their favorite animal; those attending without a costume can have professional creature make-up done on-site. Special guests include Billboard dance top 10 recording artist FAWN and DJ David Dunn, celebrity activists like Corey Feldman, Elayne Boosler, and Playboy’s Meggan Anderson. There will be food, adult beverages, prizes, swag bags, and dancing into the wee hours.

This sounds like great fun for a great cause! I was bummed that I had to miss the LA Veg Society launch party at Ady Gil’s house this past weekend because my mother in law was in town :-/
