LA vegan bakers throwdown this weekend in cupcake competion
5November 2nd, 2011vegan bakers, vegan eventsawwww shit. it’s about to get serious. if there’s one thing we vegans hold dear, it’s cupcakes (just consult the vegan sound board—5 rows down, 3 over), and this weekend the folks at urban food crawl are holding a vegan cupcake competition to find out who makes the very best in LA.
WHO WILL WIN? you can be the judge…
all you gotta do is buy a ticket to the event ($35), and you will get to eat vegan cupcakes by a shit ton of bakeries (10 total) and vote for your favorite. this is a pretty important job, and a defining moment in the history of los angeles vegan baked goods. you should all be there. space is limited though, so act now!
the bakeries are coming up with all kinds of crazy stuff in order to win, and CREATING SPECIAL FLAVORS just for the event. let’s go reap the rewards! flavors the organizers tell me will be on hand include: maple crumble, coconut pandan, banana split, tahitian vanilla salted caramel, chocolate merlot with raspberry frosing, neapolitan, and chunky monkey…
