tony’s darts away now open for BRUNCH on weekends!
15October 27th, 2011LA restaurants, tony's darts awayhell to the yes. starting this weekend tony’s darts away, our favorite vegan friendly pub is open early on weekends, and they’ve got a brand new brunch menu…not to mention a new outdoor patio!
hours on saturday and sunday now start at 10am. see you guys there for some scrambles and brews? vegan menu after the jump…
it’s small but mighty. here are the two vegan brunch items that tony’s is starting out with:
Vegan Breakfast Plate – $10
Quinoa and Tofu Scramble with onions and peppers, a side of vegan bacon, and griddled hash browns, served with a side of Tony’s house ketchupVegan Breakfast Burrito – $7.5
Our quinoa and tofu scramble wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla with onions, peppers, Daiya vegan cheddar cheese, and Tony’s house salsai’m crossing my fingers in hopes that they add some bell pepper free options to the menu, because tony’s kitchen is way small and i know that customizing the scramble probably isn’t an option.
anyways, cheers!

Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever had a breakfast burrito, even when I used to eat eggs. That sounds so good.
I think you may have to learn to like bell peppers. Just keep trying them every once and awhile.

Hahaha ^^
This lady has made up her mind!
What if the peppers are fire roasted and pureed into a nice smoky salsa?

If I could rid the world of bell peppers I would…especially red ones… Im hoping they bring on some pepper free things as well!!!

Never had a breakfast burrito? You missed out! I’ve been craving one with the works: scramble, sausage, bacon, hash browns, cheese, salsa, avocado (I’m probably still missing something)…

Haha, ok. I was just thinking that you wrote about eating breakfast burritos with bell peppers a few days ago. http://archives.quarrygirl.com/2011/10/20/lookout-los-angeles-here-comes-golden-road-brewing/
I think if you add hot sauce or salsa the capsicum makes bell peppers taste like hot peppers.

Bell peppers are Teh Eeevil and shall not be consumed, lest we run the risk of spinning heads and vomiting pea soup.
I’ll have to ask if they can prepare a sans pepper option for me too!

I didn’t know that bell pepper was so widely hated. You guys confuse me like those weird cilantro-haters! What’s not to like? Crunchy and refreshing.

It’s okay, you people just have a disability. Bell peppers are wonderful things.

More importantly, can we get the hash browns and bacon with the burrito?!

yes, i have to agree with the other sentiments expressed in the comments: i find it quite alarming that you don’t like bell peppers. are you totally insane?

I’m a fan of bell-peppers and cilantro but I know a lot of people who really dislike both for some reason haha:p
