emily’s desserts: vegan cookies for a cause
4August 1st, 2011vegan bakershey LA, there’s a new vegan cookie on the block! emily’s desserts is a west hollywood based online bakery, and they’re shipping homemade chocolate chip goodness all over the country.
i recently got the chance to try out emily’s desserts and they were fantastic—moist and soft, just like homemade cookies out of the oven, with huge melty chocolate chips. so traditional and classic tasting, i could eat them all day.
for now, you can only buy emily’s desserts online via their etsy page, and they’re shipping all over the continental united states. cookies are available by the half dozen, dozen, and two dozen…with the dozen package being the best deal at 12 bucks. PLUS, 10% of all cookie proceeds are donated to invisible children, a movement seeking to bring child soldiers in northern uganda home. delicious vegan cookies for a cause? sign me up!
